Mason - Watch Me Grow - 6 Month Photo Session

I've been so lucky to be able to document this adorable little man's growth in the last 6 months! He just keeps getting cuter all the time. He was full of smiles during his six month photo shoot and when he starts to giggle, your heart just melts!
Please also check out his video HERE on You Tube, which features some props and pictures that show just how much he has changed in the last 6 months.

Much Love,
Em :)

A little early for the Christmas hat, but so sweet!! Look at those blue eyes!

Generations of Love - Family Photos in Canmore

What an honor to photograph this family in Canmore this summer! They picked a phenomenal location with a stunning mountain backdrop, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.  I like to photograph the group first while all the children involved are in a great mood and then take some "in the moment" candids of both the kids and adults.  What a photogenic family! It was so easy to take beautiful pictures, and the kids stole the show. Please take a moment to check out their pictures and their slideshow in the link at the bottom.

Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I loved taking them!
Much love,
Em :)

Spectacular Summer Wedding - Becky & Tony - Drayton Valley Wedding

When I saw you I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew.

These two are pretty much the most adorable couple you will ever meet. Their Drayton Valley wedding was a day filled with love, laughter and emotion surrounded by family and friends from all over the province, and included guests from as far away as New Zealand. Three flower girls and three ring bearers were simply the cutest thing you ever saw and were amazing in their duties throughout the day. Honestly, they were awesome!
But the stars of the day were the beautiful couple. Becky looked absolutely gorgeous, and Tony looked very handsome in his suit. He was so excited to get married, he was dressed and ready to go almost hours before anyone else! The couple wrote letters to each other, which they read prior to the ceremony. This was a wonderful touching moment, and I was happy to have caught both readings on camera.
After the ceremony, we drove out to Becky's grandparents farm for family pictures. I have to say that both Becky and Tony come from amazing families. I arrived in town the day before for rehearsals, and Becky's grandparents graciously gave me a tour of their farm so I could scope out some locations for photos the next day. Her grandfather quickly pointed out "Becky's Tree" to me on the yard, and told me the story of the homestead.  There was so much history in the yard, it was easy to see why Becky and Tony wanted to have their photos taken there.
The day ended with a fabulous traditional Ukrainian meal. It was so delicious. Perogies? Cabbage rolls? I mean honestly... it was amazing! And then the party began, and this group knew how to party! They played games. They danced the butterfly. They danced the Kolomeyka!
This was a wonderful day, and I was so honored to be a part of it. Tony and Becky, you are such a fun couple, and I wish you many, many years of happiness, laughter and love.

Love,
Em :)
